Coffee At Birkdale

About Me

I was lucky in the fact that I spent my early years in Vienna Austria (that’s why it’s pronounced Stefan instead of Stephen). After spending nine years being exposed to classical music, art, and beautiful architecture, my family moved back to the states. Where did we move to… Kannapolis, NC. At first I had a little bit of culture shock. I went from experiencing Mozart and art galleries to Budweiser and Dale Earnhart. After adjusting to the differences, I had a great time growing up in Kannapolis (now I’m a NASCAR fan) and spending my weekends on Lake Norman.

I went to ECU where I enjoyed some of the best years of my life making great friends and memories. Birkdale Village in Huntersville became my home after graduating from college. The village treated me well. I met my wife there and enjoyed many nights listening to live music at Corkscrew, relaxing at the pool, and enjoying great meals at the local restaurants. Now my wife and I are enjoying our first home in Charlotte. I love the time I get to spend with her, family, and friends laughing and enjoying life.

This project has provided the perfect complimentary career to my Real Estate business as a Business Development Consultant. Meeting new people, building relationships, and help them develope new business. In short… “Life’s been Good”

    Hey Stephen!!

While surfing the net one day, I accidentally came upon your website and ever since that day, I go to your website periodically to check out the ‘Cars of the Day.’

Also, I clicked on your ‘About Me’ section and I saw the picture of you and your wife. While looking at the picture, I realized that your wife was my 4th grade math teacher!! I went to Hornets Nest Elementary School and at the time, her name was Miss Ullom. She was one of my favorite teachers!

Well…I just wanted to say that I like you ‘Car of the Day’ concept and can you please tell your wife I said “Hello!”

    -Thanks,
    Chelsey
